Allowing Players to Fly

As of Minecraft Beta v1.5, servers have the ability to block or allow players with hacked clients to fly. This function is blocked by default.

NOTE: This article only applies to hacked clients connecting to Vanilla minecraft servers.

  • If you are using a plugin like Essentials, players with permissions can just type /fly in-game to fly without a hacked client.
  • If the player has op, they can just type /gamemode 1 to fly in Vanilla servers, as they will be put into creative mode.

To allow hacked clients to fly, first log into your Virtual Gladiators Multicraft control panel. Click on "Server Config" in the menu:

This will take you to a page where you can easily change various server settings, including "Allow Flying":

Change the Flying option Yes, and then scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on the "Save" button.

Now simply restart your server and any users with hacked clients should be able to fly around your server.

NOTE: Virtual Gladiators does not support, nor will we help with the installation of hacked clients.
