Version 1.13.0 of Vanilla (original, unaltered) Minecraft is now available.

If you are using Vanilla Minecraft, you'll find version 1.13.0 in the drop-down list. Make sure to refresh your browser. Click on 1.13.0, click the Save button, then restart your server. The upgrade is automatic and a backup is saved automatically before changing versions.

If you're using CraftBukkit or Spigot, they have not released the new version yet. It will be a few hours, or even longer, depending on how many changes there are. It will certainly break a lot of plugins:

Here are the latest notes regarding Spigot 1.13. It's not pretty at all:

Spigot v1.13 It is not safe to use on existing worlds. There are known Vanilla bugs that will irreparably delete data from your old world, or otherwise render it unusable. 

26 July: There are known world generation bugs in this release. Use on worlds you wish to keep is not advised.
