Paid Upgrades Suspension Information
We at Virtual Gladiators take every precaution to ensure your hosting service is not interrupted:
- An automated email warning regarding pending Emerald deductions is sent at least three days before the Server Upgrades are due for renewal.
- Any Server Upgrades considered Critical to your server's operation will be processed before non-critical Server Upgrades due for renewal are processed.
- A 3-day grace period is given for Critical Server Upgrades, just in case you were unable to renew after the first Pending Suspension Warning was emailed.
When attempting to renew monthly recurring services, the following Server Upgrades listed as Critical are attempted before any others you may have active on your Server.
Server Upgrade Feature Criticality Results if Suspended for Non-Payment Grace Period MySQL Access Critical If this upgrade is suspended, any plugins using MySQL will no longer work as expected. This includes all important Ban Management and Block Logger plugins! 3 days Sub-domain DNS Entry Critical If this upgrade is suspended, you and your players will no longer be able to connect using the sub-domain name, but the IP address and port will still work. 3 days Server Memory Critical If this upgrade is suspended, your server will immediately revert to the original 512MB and be restarted. Your server may crash on startup if that is not enough memory. 3 days Server Disk Space Critical If this upgrade is suspended, your server will immediately revert to the original 500MB disk space and then restarted. Your server may hang or crash on startup if you are over quota. 3 days Backup Quota Upgrade Urgent If this upgrade is suspended, you will no longer be able to create, restore, and download backups. If you do not renew this upgrade within 3 days, all but one old backup will be deleted. 3 days Disable 30 Minute Auto Shutdown Moderate If this upgrade is suspended, your server will revert to the behavior of an automated server shutdown every 30 minutes, regardless if there are players connected. None Scheduled Tasks Upgrade Moderate If this upgrade is suspended, none of your Scheduled Tasks in Multicraft will work. This includes automated recurring server backups. None FTP Access Upgrade Moderate If this upgrade is suspended, neither you or any other users you've granted access will be able to use FTP for your server. This also affects downloads for Full Server Backup archives. None Disable Server Sleep Function When Inactive Non-critical If this upgrade is suspended, your server will automatically be shut down when no players have been on in the last 30 minutes, and automatically power back on when anyone tries to connect. None Server Chat Upgrade Non-critical If this upgrade is suspended, you will no longer be able to use the Multicraft Chat feature. None Server Maintenance Upgrade Non-critical If this upgrade is suspended, you will no longer be able to access the Server Maintenance feature that allows for easy deleting of worlds & plugins, and the ability to reset your server MOD pack. None Server Diagnostics Upgrade (coming soon) Non-critical If this upgrade is suspended, you will no longer be able to access the Smart Server Diagnostic Feature that will help diagnose errors and crashing. None One-Click Plugin Upgrade Non-critical If this upgrade is suspended, you will no longer have access to the custom One-Click Plugin Management feature in Multicraft. Existing installed plugins will not affected! None
