Blockshop Premium Pack - Kanto PokemonTheme
This is an incredibly detailed world map with a Pokemon theme. It includes 10 complete, massive towns to explore. The spawn area has warps signs setup for easy access each of the towns. All towns are all protected with WorldGuard to prevent destruction.
We've pre-configured some essential plugins to get you started. Use this as a survival server, or as a base for an adventure or other game server. It's up to you!
With the exception of Cinnabar, all the towns are linked by easy to follow roads with signs.
Server Requirements
Minimum Server Memory: 512 MB
Minimum Disk Space: 500 MB
When you activate this pack, all of the required server settings are configured automatically for you. All you need to do is join the server and play!
Client Requirements
Minecraft Client v1.8 through v1.15.0. For best performance, use Minecraft version 1.8, since that is what the server is using.
Server Owner Instructions
This pack has been pre-configured with the following plugins:
- EssentialsX.jar (Common server commands, like /sethome, /warps, /kit, etc.)
- FAWE.jar (Fast Async World Edit)
- Matrix.jar (Anti-hacking plugin)
- PermissionsEx.jar
- ViaVersion.jar (To allow 1.8 through 1.15 clients connect)
- WorldEdit.jar (For world editing)
- WorldGuard.jar (For world protecting of regions.)
This MOD pack is auto-updated, all you have to do is restart the server.
Virtual Gladiators updates plugins like ViaVersion to ensure new client versions can connect. We do NOT change the version of PaperSpigot that is running, as that would cause older plugins to stop working. We also do not change or delete any plugins you've installed that were not part of this pack to begin with.
On restart, MOD plugins that need updating will be updated automatically. Only the .jar files will be updated! No configuration files, worlds, or player data will be touched!
If you don't want this MOD pack automatically updated, simply delete AUTO_UPDATE.txt from the main folder of your server using FTP. You will then be responsible for updating the MOD pack yourself. In particular, when a new version of Minecraft is released, you MUST update ViaVersion or players will not be able to connect!
If you install additional plugins, they MUST be for version 1.8.8, as that is the version of PaperSpigot used for this MOD pack. (Minecraft v1.8.8 runs about 7 times faster than v1.14.x)
/op has been DISABLED for all of our world packs. Someone will inevitably give op to their friend, who ops their friend, and next thing you know spawn is full of TNT and we are asked to restore the server from backups.
You DO NOT NEED op permissions to be an admin on your own server! Instead, from the Multicraft Control Panel, click on Console, then make yourself an admin with the following command:
pex user YOURPLAYERNAME group set owner
Where YOURPLAYERNAME is the name of your Minecraft player in-game. (DO NOT use a leading / in the console!) You will then have all the permissions you need to configure all plugins from in-game, as well as put yourself in creative mode so you can edit the Spawn world.
Every town is protected with WorldGuard against player and mob damage. Mob spawning is turned off in each town as well, which gives players a safe haven.
Player Instructions
Join and play! You won't be able to build or modify any of the existing towns, or some protected landmarks around the map. Explore until you see the "leaving <townname>" message, and then you will be able to break and place blocks. To help appreciate the amazing beauty of the builds in this world, flying is enabled within every town. Enter it just like you would if you were in creative mode, just be careful when flying near the edges of the towns, as you WILL fall when leaving the fly zone. Walking speed has also been increased in the towns to 2x normal and 1.5x normal in the rest of the world.
For best performance, use Minecraft version 1.8, since that is what the server is using.
Either walk to the next town, use the /warp command, or click on one of the warp signs in the spawn area.
