Blockshop Premium Pack - Custom World Spawn

Arcade

Virtual Gladiators is proud to present custom World Spawns for your use! We've partnered with some incredibly talented builders to offer you pre-made, ready to use World Spawns for a fraction of the normal asking price.

But wait, there's more! We've also spent several hours having these spawns meticulously placed in a biome-appropriate location in a new world, and then pre-configured several plugins to get you started with ease!

The "Arcade" spawn is exactly that. It has been meticulously designed to look like an old-school arcade, and we've customized some mini-arcade games that you can play right in Minecraft!

Server Owner Instructions:

/op has been DISABLED for all of our world packs.  Someone will inevitably give op to their friend, who ops their friend, and next thing you know spawn is full of TNT and we are asked to restore the server from backups.

You DO NOT NEED op permissions to be an admin on your own server! Instead, from the Multicraft Control Panel, click on Console, then make yourself an admin with the following command:

lp user YOURPLAYERNAME parent set admin

Where YOURPLAYERNAME is the name of your Minecraft player in-game. (DO NOT use a leading / in the console!) You will then have all the permissions you need to configure all plugins from in-game, as well as put yourself in creative mode so you can edit the spawn area to your liking. This command also puts you in the admin group, which will allow you to use the special server owner warp sign at spawn!

Here are some things we have configured for you already:

  • Spawn area has already been protected with WorldGuard to ensure nobody but the owner can modify the initial starting area.
  • Added holographic displays that can be easily edited.
  • Customized 7 mini-arcade games: Tetris, Minesweeper, Pacman, Pong, Stack, Block Dude and Snake.
  • Created a Server Owner Control Room with clickable signs and help information for administration tasks, including links to how-to videos.
  • Pre-configured Matrix, an incredible anti-cheat & anti-hack plugin.
  • Pre-configured some basic permissions using LuckPerms to allow players access to commonly used commands like /sethome, /tpa, /tpahere, /spawn, etc.

Take a look at Arcade with these plugin enhancements added:

This is the initial spawn area. To the right is a sign that takes you to the owner control room, floating high above spawn. Only players in the "admin" group can use the sign:

At spawn, the left and right where you see the game images are some of the mini-arcade games you can play right in your Minecraft game using a custom Scoreboard plugin.
(There are two more straight ahead under the big word "Play", but the images in maps don't render from this far back.)

Here's what the mini-arcade games look like up close. Signs with instructions have been created, and we've customized the mini-arcade games themselves so they all save each player's personal best score for that game and display it on the sign. (Due to a bug in the Arcade plugin we are using, the scores reset when the server restarts, just like if you "unplugged" the "Arcade" game.)

Block Dude - originally written for the TI-83 calculator! We've customized the controls to make it easier to play, added sound effects and added a high score per player.

Games 1

Pacman and snake! We've customized both of these with some new sound effects and a personal best score that is displayed on a sign.

Server Control Room

Pong and Stack. We've added high scores to these so they will display on the signs.

Games 3

Tetris and Minesweeper. We've added the high score feature to Tetris and for Minesweeper we've added sound effects and a best time tracker for each of the difficulty levels:

Games 4

Stairs leading to the parkour inside one of the arcade cabinets:

The parkour course itself. Make it to the top of the cabinet and there is a surprise waiting.

Parkour 2

If the players get bored of playing the mini-arcade games, they can head to the back-left of spawn, jump over the wall, grab a boat and begin their Minecraft adventure!
