Blockshop Premium Pack - Custom World Spawn
BTR (Military Base)Virtual Gladiators is proud to present custom World Spawns for your use! We've partnered with some incredibly talented builders to offer you pre-made, ready to use World Spawns for a fraction of the normal asking price.
But wait, there's more! We've also spent several hours having these spawns meticulously placed in a biome-appropriate location in a new world, and then pre-configured several plugins to get you started with ease!
The "BTR" spawn is a military base spawn that we've configured with the amazing Withered plugin in a custom world. Players join, pick a spot to spawn, gather resources, get money and fight for power. Players can form small squads and attempt to ambush the enemy squads with many different types of weapons & grenades, deployable structures and assistance items like healing & shield bubbles.
After 7 days, the "war" ends and a random online player is given the endgame diamond. Players have 30 minutes to fight over it, and then the one carrying it at the end wins (and so does their squad.)
There are random loot chests scattered around the world, as well as many drop points where crates, weapons caches and mech suits will be dropped every 30 minutes. Players are notified of the coordinates of the next drop and have a few minutes to find and secure the location. (Drop events only happen when there are 2+ players on the server.)
The amount of detail that went into the Withered plugin is astounding. There are rideable cars & mech suits, Shopkeeper and Banker NPC's, incredible weapons, and overall satisfying gameplay.
Server Owner Instructions:
/op has been DISABLED for all of our world packs. Someone will inevitably give op to their friend, who ops their friend, and next thing you know spawn is full of TNT and we are asked to restore the server from backups.
You DO NOT NEED op permissions to be an admin on your own server! Instead, from the Multicraft Control Panel, click on Console, then make yourself an admin with the following command:
lp user YOURPLAYERNAME parent set admin
Where YOURPLAYERNAME is the name of your Minecraft player in-game. (DO NOT use a leading / in the console!) You will then have all the permissions you need to configure all plugins from in-game, as well as put yourself in creative mode so you can edit the spawn area to your liking.
Here are some things we have configured for you already:
- Spawn area has already been protected and configured with an information board and large "map room" with warp signs.
- The information board has a sign that gives a 20-page Withered Wiki book to players that explains game play and controls.
- Added holographic displays that can be easily edited.
- The entire world with six different locations is already created, thanks to the Withered starter pack created by Math0424.
- Pre-configured Matrix, an incredible anti-cheat & anti-hack plugin.
- Pre-configured some permissions using LuckPerms to allow players access to what they need, and admins to be able to control everything.
- The server icon has already been configured.
- There is a complete backup of the world in plugins/Withered/BackupWorlds.
This is required to automatically restore the world at the end of the 7-day "war". If you want make any changes to the spawn area or main world, be sure to run the following command FIRST:
/withered reloadworldsfrombackupfilesPLEASE
Then you can make your changes. When you're done, you'll have to copy the Withered world folder to plugins/Withered/BackupWorlds. over-writing what is already there, and then delete the files under Withered/playerdata/
This pack is ready to play with no owner intervention required! However, please be aware of some things we have enabled or disabled on purpose to ensure fair gameplay:
- Players cannot use /spawn to return to spawn.
This prevents them from coming back to spawn and using the maps to fast travel to a location that may be already taken over by an enemy squad.- The "money" is part of the Withered plugin only.
Commands like /bal and /baltop have been disabled because they are not needed. Open the player inventory to see the current money carried, and visit the banker to see what's in the bank.- Drop events require at least two players to be on the server.
- Zombies have been enabled.
This is a Withered plugin setting. Buffed zombies are everywhere. If players complain, just type /gamerule doMobSpawning false in the console or in-game.
Player Instructions:
Join the server with Minecraft client 1.14.4, grab a book from the Information stand and read the wiki to get started fast. It has everything you need to know to get started.
Behind the information board is the "map room" with warps to various map locations. Use the sign under each one to warp and see how many players are in that area (to prevent getting insta-killed):
Each area has lots of loot crates and places to explore. There is a shopkeeper in the Nuclear Plant, Prison and on Bandit Island. You'll find the bank and banker NPC in City 17.
Once you leave spawn by using a warp, you cannot come back until you die. Explore the rest of the world using a mech suit, car, power legs or a jetpack found in the loot crates.
Some fun things to do:
- Right-click an enemy structure (Ender Chest) or assistance item (shield, healing) to hack it and it will become yours after a few seconds. Don't move!
- Tracer guns temporarily highlight an enemy with a glowing aura and a particle trail directly to their location.
- Jump in car and zoom around. Cars also have mini-chests for storage. They go faster on roads!
- Stay out of the water.
