Blockshop Premium Pack - Spleef
Spleef is a fun mini-game where the object is to destroy the blocks under the other players so they fall into the lava.
This pack comes complete and ready to play! We've included 3 pre-configured Arenas that can handle from 2 to 20 players each:

Players just need to connect, and then right-click a sign to join a speef:
Server Requirements
Minimum Server Memory: 512 MB
Minimum Disk Space: 500 MB
When you activate this pack, all of the required server settings are configured automatically for you. All you need to do is join the server and play!
Client Requirements
Minecraft Java version 1.14.4 through the current version. The server runs on version 1.14.4, so that is the recommended version to use for fastest game play.

This MOD pack is auto-updated, all you have to do is restart the server.
Virtual Gladiators updates plugins like ViaVersion to ensure new client versions can connect. We do NOT change the version of PaperSpigot that is running, as that would cause older plugins to stop working. We also do not change or delete any plugins you've installed that were not part of this pack to begin with.
On restart, MOD plugins that need updating will be updated automatically. Only the .jar files will be updated! No configuration files, worlds, or player data will be touched!
If you don't want this MOD pack automatically updated, simply delete AUTO_UPDATE.txt from the main folder of your server using FTP. You will then be responsible for updating the MOD pack yourself. In particular, when a new version of Minecraft is released, you MUST update ViaVersion or players will not be able to connect!
If you install additional plugins, they MUST be for version 1.14.4, as that is the version of PaperSpigot used for this MOD pack. (Minecraft v1.8.8 runs about 7 times faster than v1.14.x)
/op has been DISABLED for all of our pre-made server packs. Someone will inevitably give op to their friend, who ops their friend, and next thing you know spawn is full of TNT and we are asked to restore the server from backups.
You DO NOT NEED op permissions to be an admin on your own server! Instead, from the Multicraft Control Panel, click on Console, then make yourself an admin/owner with the following command:
lp user YOURPLAYERNAME parent set admin
Where YOURPLAYERNAME is the name of your Minecraft player in-game. (DO NOT use a leading / in the console!) You will then have all the permissions you need to configure almost all plugins from in-game, as well as put yourself in creative mode so you can edit the spawn area.
Everything is already configured for you, but there are many options you can change. Check the Spleef Wiki page for more information about all of the options.
We've added some features to Spleef plugin (by Naruse) for better gameplay:
- Working Holographic Scoreboard display
- Spinning player heads above leaderboard signs
- Sound effects
- Game start countdown timer
- /spleef stats and /spleef topstats commands
- Code cleanup and optimizations for better performance.
Modifying Spleef Spawn
To modify the Spleef Spawn area, put yourself in creative mode with /gamemode creative. You must first make yourself admin by following the instructions above!
Player Instructions
Join the server using Minecraft 1.14.4 or newer, then right-click a sign to join a Spleef queue. Once at least one other player joins the same Spleef arena, the game will begin after 15 seconds.
When the game starts, you'll get 5 seconds to spread out. Everyone will be invisible and have no inventory except for a Magma Cream that can be used to leave the Spleef game.
Once the 5 seconds have passed, you will get inventory items corresponding to the type of game. Start moving and trying to knock out the blocks from under the other players.
Game modes:
Normal Spleef - You'll get a shovel.
Splegg - You'll get several stacks of eggs.
Melting - You'll get a shovel, but the arena blocks will randomly begin to "melt" after 30 seconds.
Bow Spleef - You'll get a bow and several stacks of arrows.
