Blockshop Premium Pack - Toy Story 2
This is an adventure world/mini-game that takes place in a recreation of Andy's house from Toy Story 2. The developer, PitchBlack, spent 3 months making this pack and has even created custom resources in the Toy Story Theme!
This map and the resource pack are for Minecraft version 1.8. Unfortunately the resource pack is not 100% compatible with 1.13 and newer clients, so just change your client to 1.8 and connect.
Server Requirements
Minimum Server Memory: 512 MB
Minimum Disk Space: 500 MB
When you activate this pack, all of the required server settings are configured automatically for you. All you need to do is join the server and play! That includes the resource pack, which is hosted at Virtual Gladiators and will be downloaded automatically when you connect to your server.
Client Requirements
Minecraft Client v1.8. Supports 1 to 4 players.
Server Owner Instructions
There's not much for you to do as the owner. We've pre-configured everything for you. Just start it up, connect, and then play!
The default game mode is survival and the mob griefing game rule hasbeen disabled. However, the skulls that you collect will not reset themselves automatically, so you'll have to re-install the pack fresh to reset everything back to how it was meant to be played.
Player Instructions
This pack runs on Minecraft 1.8. In order to connect and play, all players must first create a new installation entry for 1.8 in your Minecraft launcher.
When the launcher is first opened, click on the "Installations" text at the top:
Next, click on "New":
Now give the menu entry a name, select 1.8.8 from the Version drop-down, then click on the "Create" button:
You'll now see the new entry in the list. Click on the "Play" button to launch:
When it starts up, just click on Multiplayer and add the server IP address and port as you would for any other Minecraft server.
When you first join, you should be in a little teleport room. If not, just walk over the steps into this room. Press the button to begin:
You'll be teleported inside Andy's house in the hallway. To the right and around the corner is the first puzzle area. If it's night time, mobs will be spawning. Avoid them until you get your gear in the next step:
Walk towards the toy dinosaur and you'll see a box on the ground:
Right-click on the box:
Inside you'll find a book with instructions from the developer of this pack as well as energy, a sword and a full set of armor. Be sure to put on the purple head piece too! If you're playing with other players, put the book back when you're done reading.
When you came down this hall you passed a table. Climb the ladder on the leg to get to the top. This is your first puzzle!
The jumps in this map can be difficult, so be sure to click the button under the "Checkpoint" sign when you see them. That will set your respawn point next to the button.
We won't spoil the rest of your adventure. The "coins" you are collecting are the skeleton skulls placed in various hard to find places around the map. See if you can find them all!
